1. Q. Why does Mother
Teresa believe that it is not enough for us to say "I love God but I
do not love my neighbour"?
Ans:- Mother Teresa says this in her
Nobel Lecture at Oslo in Norway. She gives the reference to the
scripture and says that God dwells in human body. It is not possible to
love and respect God unless one learns to value humanity. Here she
echos the words of St. John who said "you are a liar if you say
you love God and you do not love your neighbour." She explains that
we can not love God whom we do not see if we do not love
our neighbour who is always very near to us physically. To love God we
must learn to love the people around us. Here the word 'neighbour'
does not strictly, mean the person residing beside rather, it refers to
each and every human being around us with whom we spend our life and share
our joys and sorrows.

2. Q. What does Mother
Teresa say about the greatest destroyer of peace today?
Ans:- According to Mother Teresa the
incident of abortion by the mother herself is the greatest destroyer of peace
and it strikes her the most, it is nothing but a direct killing, a murder and
that is also by the mother herself. It is violation of the God's law, His
creation. Bible says every life on earth, even the unborn child is curved in
his hand. Death of children around the world is unfortunate enough but abortion
is an inhuman crime,a Sin. Mother Teresa, wants this abortion to be abolished
from the world and she implores all to stand against this practice. She has
requested the hospitals, police station, clinics to take steps against this.
She also promises the unmarried mothers shelter and support as there is a
tremendous demand for children for adoption. She has also been teaching the
poor and the uneducated people the natural way of family planning.
